SunTrust Community Development Enterprises, LLC (Enterprises) will provide loans and equity investments to for-profit businesses, community-based organizations, national non-profits, CDFIs and real estate projects including retail, industrial, office space, historic, mixed-use, for sale housing and community facilities. The NMTC allocation will allow Enterprises to offer products not currently offered through its CRA program, including reduced interest rates, extended amortizations, longer maturities, no origination fees, and equity features. On reduced interest rate loans, Enterprises’ interest rates will be between 265-450 basis points below market interest rates.

NMTC (2009) - $70,000,000

SunTrust Community Development Enterprises, LLC (Enterprises) will make loans and equity investments to for-profit businesses, community-based organizations, non-profits, CDFIs and real estate projects including retail, industrial, office space, historic renovation, mixed-use, for-sale housing and community facilities. These transactions will be structured with non-traditional rates, terms and conditions, providing funds to businesses that primarily serve low-income communities and may not have access to traditional sources of capital. These products are not currently offered by the controlling entity. The entirety of Enterprises’ allocation award will be deployed into areas of higher distress.



NMTC (2008) - $50,000,000

SunTrust Community Development Enterprises, LLC (Enterprises) will provide loans to and equity investments in for-profit businesses, community-based organizations, national nonprofits, CDFIs and real estate projects including retail, industrial, office space, historic renovation, mixed-use, for-sale housing and community facilities. These transactions will be structured with non-traditional rates, terms and conditions, including interest rates of up to 450 basis points below market and no origination fees. The entirety of Enterprises" NMTC allocation will be deployed within areas of higher economic distress.



NMTC (2007) - $100,000,000

SunTrust Community Development Enterprises, LLC (Enterprises) will provide loans and equity investments to for-profit businesses, community-based organizations, national non-profits, CDFIs and real estate projects including retail, industrial, office space, historic, mixed-use, for sale housing and community facilities. The NMTC allocation will allow Enterprises to offer products not currently offered through its CRA program, including reduced interest rates, extended amortizations, longer maturities, no origination fees, and equity features. On reduced interest rate loans, Enterprises’ interest rates will be between 265-450 basis points below market interest rates.



NMTC (2005) - $75,000,000

The NMTC allocation award will allow SunTrust Community Development Enterprises, LLC (Enterprises) to target areas of greater economic distress and to extend financing to borrowers that it cannot finance via SunTrust Bank?s existing CRA lending program. The NMTC subsidiary will enable Enterprises to structure its loans with non-traditional rates, terms or conditions, including interest rates that are up to 350 basis points below market.
