Hawaiian Community Assets, Inc. (HCA) is a recently formed entity that focuses on increasing economic opportunity for Native Hawaiians as well as other lower income Hawaiians throughout the state. HCA is working on establishing mortgage products that can be used to facilitate home ownership on Native Hawaiian trust lands. In addition it intends to serve as a holding company for a commercial bank currently in formation that will be largely owned by and serve the Native Hawaiian population.
