The Onomea Federal Credit Union (OFCU) is a certified CDFI serving the rural areas of the island of Hawaii. OFCU is designated a Low Income Credit Union by the NCUA. Originally founded in 1939 to serve sugar plantation employees, the OFCU became community-owned in 1996.
