Catawba Indian Nation is a Sponsoring Entity that intends to create a credit union to provide consumer and business loan products and services to its target market. The target market will Catawba tribal members living in South Carolina with possible expansion into North Carolina once the credit union is established. The Technical Assistance award will be used for: 1) Staff salaries and benefits; 2) Training for staff and the applicant’s Board of Directors; and 3) Purchasing computers, office equipment, and materials.
