credit:

The Department of Health and Human services will issue $36 million in grants to 50 of the nations Health Center Controlled Networks this month. These grants will be used to improve the IT of these health centers so that analysis can be done on population data to better serve the communities.

The clinics receiving these grants are mostly safety net clinics who provide care to patients on a sliding scale based on their ability to pay.
