LA Unified School District Launches Fund for Equity and Excellence

The Los Angeles Unified School District has announced the launch of a $3 million fund that will pool philanthropic resources in support of its students, teachers, and families.


The Fund for Equity and Excellence will support the district's efforts to improve student attendance, close the opportunity gap for underserved students, increase high-quality learning opportunities for all students, and better engage the school community, including families, students, and educators.


The funding will increase over time.
