Aiding Future Philanthropists

Grade 12 or first-year post-secondary students are offered a $1,000 scholarship from the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) local chapter. The goal of the scholarship is to promote future leadership in volunteerism and philanthropy.

The students be eligible for one of five scholarships, with a total value of $4,000. Applicants must show positive civic and community support through their interest in, commitment to and active involvement in volunteer and philanthropic causes.

Applicants must be a student expected to graduate from Grade 12 or complete their first year of post-secondary studies in spring 2020 to be eligible for this scholarship.

The award is to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Inspiring Philanthropy Awards celebrated in Lethbridge, in conjunction with National Philanthropy Day.
