National Digital Newspaper Program

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Preservation and Access is accepting applications for the National Digital Newspaper Program.

The purpose of this program is to create a national digital resource of historically significant newspapers published between 1690 and 1963

This searchable database will be permanently maintained at the Library of Congress (LC) and will be freely accessible online.

S. Territory or Possession; Non-domestic (non-U.S.) Entities (Foreign Institutions) are not eligible to apply.

Non-domestic (non-U.S.) components of U. S. Organizations are not eligible to apply.
