Overall, the activity will work closely with the Ministry of Public Education (MOPE) and the Government of Uzbekistan (GOU) to identify, select, and support targeted interventions in primary and secondary schools, or clusters of schools, throughout the country.

These interventions will result in improved student learning by transforming the way schools are managed, teachers are trained, instruction is delivered, and learning materials (traditional and ICT) are developed and utilized.

The Activity will also develop methods and strategies to increase transparency and accountability in schools and improve school management and service delivery.
