The United States Agency for International

Development (USAID) Senegal /Sahel regional Office (SRO) is making a special call for submission of concept papers from qualified entities to implement the program entitled “Nafoore” in the Republic of Mauritania.

Subject to the availability of funds, USAID/Senegal /SRO may allocate up to $17,000,000 over the course of three years with a two (2) year extension period , subject to the combined successful implementation of the first three years and the availability of funding.

Eligible organizations interested in submitting a Concept Paper are required to carefully read this APS addendum as well as the full YouthPower APS announcement, which can be found at:
https://www.grants.gov/web/grants/view-opportunity.html?oppId=325906 .Reading those materials is essential to understanding the program description, concept paper submission requirements and the review and evaluation process.

Eligibility is discussed in Section C of this addendum.

Issuance of this notice of funding opportunity does not constitute an award commitment on the part of the Government nor does it commit the Government to pay for any costs incurred in preparation or submission of comments/suggestions or a concept Paper/Application.

Applications are submitted at the risk of the applicant.

All preparation and submission costs are at the applicant’s expense.
