Sacramento Joint Intake Project

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a funding modification to a cooperative agreement with Reclamation District 2035 under the authority of Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) 1 5. 512 Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Title XXXIV, P.L.

3406 (b)(21) Fish, Wildlife and Habitat Restoration and Sec.

3407 (e) Funding to Non-Federal Entities.

Estimated total amount of the agreement is $55,590,52 7. 00 with Reclamation providing $264,41 0. 00 in Fiscal Year 201 8. The joint intake and diversion is currently under construction and located at approximately River Mile 7 0. 8 on the right bank of the Sacramento River near Woodland, California.

The facility will be used jointly by the Recipient and the Agency to divert water from the Sacramento River and meet all current fish screening and floodway protection requirements.

The principle objectives of this project are:
Design and Build an Intake Pump Station/Fish Screen/Outlet Station.

A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance agreement based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2. 14 (B)(2) & (4) is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
