Ecological Surveillance for High-Consequence pathogens in Sierra Leone

The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to strengthen viral hemorrhagic fevers (VHF) ecological surveillance capability in Sierra Leonean public institutions in order to 1) improve vector surveillance for VHF viruses and other high consequence pathogens of public health concern, and

2) improve laboratory capacity to detect potential VHF viruses and other pathogens of public health concern in small animals.

With this capability, more effective strategies can be developed and implemented for preventing emergence and spillover of VHF to the population.
