Implementation of Integrated HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care, and Treatment Programs in the Republic of Mozambique under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)

This NOFO will support the implementation of integrated HIV/AIDS treatment, care, and prevention programs in the Republic of Mozambique.

This NOFO will build upon previous work and continue to strengthen the Ministry of Health of Mozambique (MISAU) to coordinate, provide HIV program oversight,

and develop and standardize policies and guidelines for implementing the national HIV/AIDS program.

MISAU provides national leadership and technical assistance to all Provincial Directorates of Health (DPS) and oversees the entire HIV/AIDS program in Mozambique.

This NOFO aims to strengthen MISAU's leadership, managerial, and technical capacity to implement and coordinate the various HIV/AIDS related programs.

This NOFO will build enhanced capacity for monitoring and evaluation systems, HIV prevention programs, facilitate the test and start initiative, Viral Load (VL) roll out, support human resources for health, expand adult and pediatric care and treatment services, and improve strategic information systems to conduct routine HIV program monitoring and evaluation activities.This NOFO will strengthen MISAU's ability to coordinate and efficiently manage limited resources, while significantly contributing to improved access to integrated HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment services, and increased antiretroviral therapy (ART) service coverage to support the sustained control of the HIV epidemic.
