the standard curriculum of relevant healthcare and health services education programs.

Through the mainstreaming of this education, the ultimate goal is to expand the number of practitioners to deliver high-quality, evidence-based SUD treatment.

The National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) 2017 data indicate that an unacceptably high 92% of individuals who meet criteria for needing SUD treatment do not receive it.
