National GAP Analysis Program - FY 2012 PAD-US State Grants
The Gap Analysis Program (GAP) of the U. S. Geological Survey (USGS) is offering grant and/or cooperative agreement opportunities to States, local governments, or other recipients for projects performed in partnership with USGS GAP.
This year, GAP program managers are interested in expanding this
partnership in the following states (states chosen because of the USGS-defined need to update information currently available to the USGS in these states):
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Indiana, Kansas, New Jersey, Texas, Nevada and Oklahoma.

Applications will be accepted from any individual/agency which has the ability to conduct projects consistent with the goal and objectives of GAP from the states specifically listed in this announcement for inclusion.
