The USGS is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research in the following research area:
investigation of impacts of invasive brown tree snake (BTS) on the ecological resiliency of Guam to novel invaders via impacts to food weds and comparative investigations of food webs on non-invaded
Northern Mariana Islands.
The research will be used to improve Early Detection and Rapid Response (EDRR) programs for BTS, help identify restoration targets following reduction in BTS abundance, and to assess biosecurity actions in the Pacific Island region.
