Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, Colorado Plateau CESU

The U. S. Geological Survey Southwest Biological Science Center (SBSC) is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner to provide financial assistance to help build a program to (1) use genetic soil mycorrhizal approaches to determining how fire affects the regeneration of pinyon- juniper ecosystems

in Mesa Verde National Park and (2) use novel soil mycorrhizal restoration tools to test new restoration options for increasing pinyon-juniper recruitment and planting following fire in Mesa Verde National Park.
