Cooperative Agreement for CESU-affiliated Partner with Great Lakes Northern Forests Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit

U. S. Geological Survey’s (USGS) Great Lakes Science Center is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research on a project titled “Great Lakes Connecting Channels Ecology.” This research will provide insight about the environmental and biological conditions of Great Lakes

Connecting Channels (GLCC) to include the St.

Marys River, St.

Clair River, Detroit River, Niagara River, and the St.

Lawrence River and their adjoining waterways.

These types of information are critical to managing conditions across the Great Lakes Basin and the recreational and commercial fisheries within.
