Cooperative Agreement for CESU-affiliated Partner with South Florida/Caribbean Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit

The U. S. Geological Survey’s Greater Everglades Priority Ecosystem Research Program is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research in modeling the spread and control of invasive plants as part of the Across Trophic Level System Situation (ATLSS) program.

at the development of modeling that can provide guidance to the sustainable control of plant species in southern Florida that have caused substantial harm to the environment.

This will include the Melaleuca tree (Melaleuca quinquenervia) but will be expected to develop modeling that can be applied to a broader array of invasive plants.
