The goal of this program is the strengthened capacity of Pakistan’s law enforcement, counternarcotics, and justice institutions.
Under conditions of a protracted pandemic, INL seeks to support our Pakistani government partners through virtual training to build skills to disrupt and deter
drug trafficking and other crimes, strengthen the resilience of law enforcement agencies and public confidence in the rule of law.
More specifically, INL seeks to support projects that will:
a) advance women professionals in law enforcement and justice institutions, b) strengthen capacity across the criminal justice sector to handle complex crises and investigations c) develop training curricula and online training capabilities with the potential for sustainable impact.
INL has identified ten subject areas as priorities for virtual training proposals.
INL strongly encourages applicants to focus on a small subset of these ten areas in order to be able to design and implement training of appropriate caliber, necessary refinement for the local context, and sufficient dosage in terms of number of trainings delivered.law enforcement emergency preparedness crisis negotiationsgender-based violence prevention and responseleadership and resiliency training for women in criminal justiceself-efficacy trainingcrowd control/managementadult online curricula development and deliveryadvanced narcotics and financial investigationssynthetic drugs and precursor chemical diversioncommunity-oriented policing
