specialized information services to the public.
The library consolidates and preserves invaluable information in the center of Alaskaâ¿¿s population while eliminating duplication of functions and library materials.
The library improves public access to these information resources by putting them all in one place.
It also continues strengthening the capacity to provide specialized resource information services to the public as a whole and to the state, federal partners, Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council (EVOSTC) and Joint Pipeline Office (JPO) so that these other partners can better serve the public and their needs.
This project will consolidate, preserve, and provide access to invaluable information resources to the public worldwide.
