Media Startups Skills: Reshaping Journalism

Based on funding availability, the objective should be achieved through the organization and implementation of a total of four, two-day workshops on “Media Startup Skills:
Reshaping Journalism” for practicing journalists and journalism students.

Two workshops will take place in

Mumbai, one of India’s biggest media markets, and the other two workshops in Ahmedabad which is a tier-II city and a growing regional hub for practicing journalists and journalism students.

Both Mumbai and Ahmedabad are centers for an active Western India press corps.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Eligible applicants are institutions of higher education in the United States applying on behalf of enrolled, doctoral-level students.

To be eligible to administer the grant on behalf of the student, the institution must be fully accredited by one of the regional accrediting commissions recognized by the Department of Education and the Council on Post-Secondary Accreditation.

Eligible U. S. institutions may apply on behalf of their own university faculty who will serve as a mentor/principal investigator for an international non-U. S. citizen or U. S. citizen who is an advanced graduate student enrolled in their programs.

Faith-based and community organuizations are eligible to apply under this announcement.

Individuals and foreign entities are not eligible for awards made under this announcement.
