FY22 Disaster Supplemental - Emergency Coastal Resilience Fund

The project objective is to enhance the resilience of coastal areas of the U. S. that received a federal disaster declaration as a result of hurricanes and of wildfires in calendar years 2020 and 202 1. This will be done by administering a competitive grants program, as authorized by the National Oceans

and Coastal Security Act (PL 114-113), to implement disaster recovery funding appropriated under the Extending Government Funding and Delivering Emergency Assistance Act, 2022 (PL 117-43).

The project must align with the intent of the Coastal Zone Management Act.
