2018 Preservation, Restoration, and Rehabilitation of Historic Landscape at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park

THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS.

This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service’s intention to award a task agreement under a previously competed or single source justified master cooperative agreement.

Cooperative Agreement P18AC00751

was entered into by and between the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, (NPS), and Woodstock Foundation, Inc.

to develop and collaborate on projects that preserve and manage historic, cultural and natural resources, and provide opportunities for public education, research and visitor enjoyment.

This work will assist with developing a private-public partnership to address deferred and cyclic maintenance of the historic gardens and grounds of the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller NHP (including maintenance of the formal gardens, specimen tree management, pruning and plant replacements, and general landscape care), which is a key part of the historic Billings’ estate and is used for numerous public programs and tours that are enjoyed by visitors to both the National Park and adjacent Billings Farm & Museum, owned and managed by the Woodstock Foundation.

It will also provide a summer horticultural internship for one youth.
