Youth Interpretation and Education Internships - HOSP

Per the Secretary of the Interior’s Priority #1 for Financial Assistance, “creating a conservation stewardship legacy second only to Teddy Roosevelt,” this project’s goal is to increase visitor understanding through completing the following objectives:
1. ) Updating an existing

lesson plan and creating at least two new curriculum-based lesson plans, including educational support materials, about stewardship of the park’s cultural and natural resources 2. ) Provide programs to the public at least once weekly about the park’s cultural and natural resources 3. ) Updating existing web content on the park’s webpage and creating at least 15 new topic-specific pages to increase visitor access to information about the park’s resources The project assists in the creation, promotion, facilitation, and/or improvement of the public's understanding of natural, cultural, historic, recreational, and other aspects of areas such as ecological conservation areas and state and local parks.
