OVC’s mission is to enhance the Nation’s capacity to assist crime victims and provide leadership in changing policies and practices to promote justice and healing for all victims of crime.

OVC achieves this mission, in part, by administering discretionary award programs supported by the federal Crime Victims Fund to develop innovative training and technical assistance, and to provide services to improve the overall quality of victim assistance.

This program will implement administrative funding adjustments to previously awarded FY2021 OVC human trafficking awards providing services to victims of human trafficking, as defined by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) of 200 0. Statutory Authority:

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Eligible applicants are limited to entities who received an invitation from OVC to apply for an administrative funding adjustment, specifically Justice innovation, Inc.

and University of Maryland, Baltimore.

All recipients and subrecipients must forgo any profit or management fee.

Nonprofit organizations that hold money in offshore accounts for the purpose of avoiding paying the tax described in 26 U.S.C.

§ 511(a) are not eligible to apply.
