Public Health Intern Program (PHIP)

The National Park Serviceâ¿¿s Office of Public Health has created an employment opportunity for a college-age youth to be energized regarding public health, health opportunities and impacts, and to create an Alternative Spring Break program for both primary and secondary educational levels.

This

employment opportunity is designed to inspire college students to consider careers in the National Park Service while diversifying the overall workforce.

Including college aged students 18-25 in the program, ensures that we provide for the necessary training and career development of young people with a keen interest public health to consider a career with the National Park Service.
