Public Land Corps Project to Repair and Sustain Trails

Most of the equestrian/hiking trails within Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park are severely worn and damaged due to age, water erosion, and years of overuse.

Work crews will provide trail tread repair, repair or replace creek bed crossings, and contribute to some vegetation removal

and other types of minor trail work in order to make trails safer for horses, their riders and hikers
