Social Health Protection Project

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is seeking applications (proposals for funding) from U. S. or non-U. S. nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), public international organizations (PIO or IO), or other qualified organizations as primary recipients to support nationwide expansion

of the Health Equity Fund (HEF), with specific attention to ensuring accountability and transparency of operations, and leveraging HEF reimbursements to improve the quality of care in government health facilities.

The Project also seeks to contribute to the efforts of multiple Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) ministries/agencies and development partners to facilitate the development of a broader system of SHP leading eventually to the RGCÂ’s goal of universal health coverage (UHC).
