Youth Work Readiness and Entrepreneurship Activity

The purpose of the five-year Uzbekistan Youth Work Readiness and Entrepreneurship Activity is to increase the ability of Uzbek youth in grades 8 -11 to participate in the labor market.

This Activity seeks to equip youth with necessary work-readiness, as well as soft and entrepreneurial skills,

through improved quality and relevance of curriculum and engaging teaching practices in school-based and afterschool programs in a strengthened enabling environment.The Activity goal will be achieved through the following objectives:i) Improved quality of school-based economics and entrepreneurship programs;ii) Improved quality of afterschool entrepreneurship, soft skills and work readiness programs;andii) Strengthened enabling environment to support and engage youth.Please see attached Draft Program Description (PD) for a more detailed description.
