Liberia Media Development (LMD)

The United States Agency for International Development’s (USAID) mission in the Republic of Liberia (USAID/Liberia) intends to award a Cooperative Agreement to implement the Liberia Media Development (LMD) Program.

The primary goal of the program is to increase Liberian citizens’ access to independent

and reliable information and empowerment to engage in well-informed public discussion of important issues of the day.

It is expected that program support will focus with both commercial media outlets and Community Radio Stations (CRS).
