Support Chad’s Ministry of Finance and budget in the compilation of a Citizen Budget (CB)

Embassy N’Djamena is seeking proposals from non-governmental organizations to help the Government of Chad to develop and disseminate a citizen’s budget.

This grant will provide support to Chad’s Ministry of Finance and Budget by creating a dissemination plan, facilitating the translation

of the complete citizen’s into four local languages, and organizing public awareness campaigns on the citizen’s budget.

The grantee will increase civil society’s and the public’s involvement in assuring accountability and transparency in public financial management.

The Embassy N’Djamena plans to award a total of $85,000 for a project period of up to 10 months.

Applications from local and international organizations are welcome.
