The funding priorities and technical focus for this announcement are to restore streams affected by AMD to a level that will support a diverse biological community and provide recreational opportunities for the public, water quality improvement, pollutants removed, stream segments improved or restored,
aquatic habitat improved or restored, public water supply improved, fisheries improved, recreation opportunities enhanced, educational opportunities created, aesthetic enhancement, community benefits/pride generated, associated land restoration, and health & safety hazards eliminated.

The only eligible applicants are nonprofit institutions with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status that have received a confirmed booking for one of the NEH on the Road exhibitions through Mid-America Arts Alliance.
