NRCS-IL Grazing Management Plans

The NRCS-Illinois State Office, and agency under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking opportunities to partner with other natural resource conservation entities to provide technical services to private landowners by assisting them in the development of Grazing Management Plans.

plans are integral to participation in NRCS Farm Bill Programs focused on restoring and protecting eligible grazing lands, including rangeland, pastureland and certain other lands.

The Awardee will develop 32 grazing management plans for clients in Illinois over a 2-year period as described in the Grazing Management Plan Practice Activity Code in the NRCS Field Office Technical Guide for Illinois.

All practices must meet NRCS standards and specifications in accordance with applicable NRCS policy and criteria found at the following website:

http://efotg.nrcs.usda.gov Proposals will be accepted from eligible entities for work to be done in the state of Illinois.

Illinois NRCS anticipates that the total amount awarded under this agreement for Fiscal Year 2019 will not exceed $90,00 0. Proposals are requested for competitive consideration of cooperative agreements of two years in duration from all eligible domestic applicants.

The closing date for submission of applications is September 21, 2018 by 4:00 pm CST.
