Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP) in order tofacilitate successful implementation of the 16 USC 670c-1 Sikes Act.
Approximately $129,100is expected to be available to support this project for the base period.
Additional funding may beavailable for additional tasks and/or follow on work in subsequent fiscal years to the successfulRecipient/Awardee.NOTE:
Must be a non-federal partner in the Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Units (CESU)Program to be qualified for consideration.
Suggested area is Colorado Plateau or Gulf CoastCESU Regions.Brief Description of Anticipated Work:This research focuses on the following objectives:TASK 1 – Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance (LRAM) SupportTASK 2 – Plans, Protocols, and ReportsTASK 3 – ITAM SupportNOTE:
At this time we are only requesting that you demonstrate available qualifications andskills for performing similar or the same type of work.
The Cooperator shall provide a ProjectManager/Principal Investigator with at least 5 years of experience at an installation as an ITAM,RTLA, or LRAM Coordinator.
The Cooperator will provide a Project Manager/PrincipalInvestigator with Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree (Masters of Art or Science preferred) froman accredited college or university in a relevant field (e.g.
environmental science, biology,forestry, etc.).
You will be evaluated for a request for a proposal based on skills andqualifications demonstrated in your SOI.Period of Performance.
The base year of agreement will extend 12 months from award.
Therewill be four 12-month option years based on availability of funding.Review of Statements Received:
All statements of interest received will be evaluated by aboard comprised of one or more people at the receiving installation or activity, who willdetermine which statement(s) best meet the program objectives.
Based on a review of theStatements of Interest received, an investigator or investigators will be invited to prepare a fullstudy proposal.
