Summer of Paddling 2012

Summer of Paddling 2012 is a series of events on the Mississippi for new and experienced paddlers.

The National Park Service, within the Department of the Interior has announced funding in the amount of $80,000 to support the Mississippi River Trail Projects.

Summer of Paddling project consists of purchasing the materials needed to host a series of paddling tours, water trail dedications, and other park events focused on getting people outside, increasing awareness of recreational opportunities and natural resources along the Mississippi River.
