Anderson Ranch Dam on the Boise River

The Bureau of Reclamation, within the Department of the Interior has announced funding in the amount of $333,698 to support the South Fork Boise River Hydrodynamic Modeling Project.

Bull trout are known to use the SFBR for overwintering and rearing. The project’s objective is to better understand the migratory habits of the bull trout. The Bureau will enter into a Cooperative Agreement with University of Idaho to assist in the development of hydrologic flow models and a temperature model.
