The Keechelus dam on the Yakima river
The Bureau of Reclamation, an Office of the Department of the Interior has announced funding in the amount of $315,000 to support the Yakima Project Storage Dams, Fish Passage Project.
Reclamation intends to extend an existing grant agreement with the Yakama Nation for the continuation of the feasibility study of providing fish passage at the five large storage dams of the Yakama Project. The anticipated extension is 2 years.
