Since the original curriculum was developed in 2012, additional resources (research and best practices) became available that can be used to enhance or improve the existing content.
The Scope of Work for this initiative will include revision to the “Protecting the Safety and Security of
Staff” training module with the intent of developing curriculum that includes staff wellness.
Additionally, the Scope of Work will include developing curriculum addressing Organization Change and Culture, as well as curriculum focusing on Implementation Effectiveness that will be added to the current Probation and Parole Executive Orientation curriculum that includes the Instructor Led classroom training and the online self-paced training completed by participants prior to attending the classroom event.

Additional Information of Eligibility:NIC invites applications from nonprofit organizations (including faith-based, community, and tribal organizations), for-profit organizations (including tribal for-profit organizations), and institutions of higher education (including tribal institutions of higher education).
Recipients, including for-profit organizations, must agree to waive any profit or fee for services.
NIC welcomes applications that involve two or more entities; however, one eligible entity must be the applicant and the others must be proposed as sub-recipients.
The applicant must be the entity with primary responsibility for administering the funding and managing the entire program.
