USAID Governance Activity in Turkmenistan

The activity will promote inclusivity and accessibility across a variety of sectors through providing methodology and expertise on inclusive services and facilities for individuals with special needs, including people with disabilities, elderly people, pregnant women, young parents, and others.

In


accordance with Turkmenistan’s National Action Plan for Gender Equality for 2021-2025, this activity will increase the capacity of civil servants, civil society and private sector to better understand and implement gender sensitive knowledge, attitudes, policies and practices with the aim to improving women's economic opportunities, including participation in political and public spheres, and decreasing gender-based violence.

Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
