Eligibility for this award is not restricted.

USAID intends to make an award to the applicant who best meets the objectives of this funding opportunity based on the merit review criteria described in this RFA subject to a risk assessment.

Eligible parties interested in submitting an application are encouraged to read the attached Request for Application (RFA) thoroughly to understand the type of program sought, application submission requirements and selection process.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Eligibility Requirements Applicants for the HSI Education Grants Program must meet all the requirements discussed in this RFA.

Applications may only be submitted by Hispanic-Serving Institutions.

To be considered an HSI, institutions must have a minimum of 25 percent undergraduate full-time Hispanic enrollment.

Failure to meet an eligibility criterion by the application deadline may result in the application being excluded from consideration and, even though an application may be reviewed, will preclude NIFA from making an award.

Duplicate or Multiple Submissions – duplicate or multiple submissions are not allowed.

NIFA will disqualify both applications if an applicant submits duplicate or multiple submissions.
