BJA FY 18 State and Local Anti-Terrorism Training (SLATT)

The U. S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs' (OJP) Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is seeking applications for the State and Local Anti-Terrorism Training and Technical Assistance Program.

This program will further the Departments domestic counter-terror efforts and

credit:


law enforcement agencies to prevent acts of terror in their jurisdictions.

This training will emphasize that constitutional rights, civil liberties, civil rights, and privacy interests must be protected throughout the intelligence process.

It will provide specialized, terrorism/extremism orientation, interdiction, investigation, and prevention training and technical assistance to state, local, and tribal law enforcement, analytical personnel, training directors, and prosecutors to assist them in preventing, identifying, and investigating domestic criminal terrorism/extremism.
