Upper Salmon Basin Stream Rehabilitation Project Planning

The recipient will continue to rehabilitate and restore ongoing projects that have been identified in protecting the Endangered Species Act (ESA) fish species through the Integrated Rehabilitation Assessment in the Upper Salmon Sub-basin.

These projects in the Upper Salmon subbasin are designed


to improve survival of fish during spawning and rearing life stages.

The recipient will implement specific action activities per project that can include items such as:
increased miles of channel complexity, improved channel function(s), updated fish screens, removal of fish passage barriers, habitat project design and construction concepts with continuous monitoring of each project’s outcome.
