CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $15,000,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds.

Mozambique is faced with a severe public-health workforce shortage.

This NOFO aims specifically to increase access

to and the supply of qualified health professionals, technical specialists, and administrative support staff in all provinces through the following human resource (HR) services and support:
planning, distribution, advertisement, recruitment, deployment, compensation, payroll administration, personnel support, and human resource management (HRM).

In addition, this NOFO will increase access to technical expertise through short-term contracts and consultants to support human resource information systems (HRIS) and ensure human resource for health (HRH) capacity building activities for new and existing staff through coordination of in-service training using the different learning platforms including TelesSaude.
