1. The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) Cultural Heritage Center (“the Center”) is accepting project abstracts and full applications for the U. S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) 2019 Large Grants Program.

to the Embassy is Monday, December 3, 201 8. For abstracts that advance to Round 2, the submission deadline for full project applications is February 15, 201 9. Floor on Amount:
US $200,000 per project Ceiling on Amount:
US $800,000 per project ECA urges U. S. embassies to consult with the Center, PD Desk Officers, and Cultural Coordinators in regional bureaus on potential projects and their alignment with U. S. foreign policy objectives early in the process.

Full implementation of the AFCP 2019 program is pending the availability of FY 2019 funds and an approved congressional spend plan.

*PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY* *ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ENGLISH WITHOUT EXCEPTION* Remember this is a two-stage grant competition in which institutions are invited to submit project extracts to start this process.

Only selected institutions will be invited to continue this process only if the project abstract complies with all requirements and is approved by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) Cultural Heritage Center.

Project abstracts are due on December 3rd, 2019 at 12 midnight.

Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
