The purpose of the Parent Information and Training (PTI) centers is to meet the information and training needs of individuals with disabilities and their families, so that individuals with disabilities can achieve their employment and independent living goals.
The Department intends to fund eight Regional Parent Information and Training Centers (PTIs) (Assistance Listing Number (ALN) 8 4. 235F) and one National PTI Technical Assistance (TA) Center (ALN 8 4. 235G) as part of this program administered by the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA).
