The Commercial Motor Vehicle Operator Safety Training (CMVOST) grant is a nationwide Federal financial assistance program intended to reduce the severity and number of crashes on U. S. roads involving commercial motor vehicles (CMV) by training operators and future operators in the safe use of such vehicles.
