Cooperative Agreement for CESU-affiliated Partner with Pacific Northwest Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit

The US Geological Survey is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research on flood hazards and climate adaptation.

The primary Research Objectives covered by this agreement include:
(1) modeling to support future flood hazards and climate adaptation in the Pacific Northwest,


including Puget Sound and the outer Pacific coast, (2) stakeholder engagement in USGS CoSMoS and Cascadia CoPes through shared networks and partners, (3) co-authoring peer-reviewed journal articles, and (4) attending meetings with the USGS Climate Impacts and Coastal Processes Team to build conceptual frameworks, align on research priorities, and coordinate strategies for work.
