<p>The Administration for Children and Families, Administration for Native Americans announces the availability of Fiscal Year 2010 funds for community-based projects for the Environmental Regulatory Enhancement program.  The Environmental program provides funding for projects that support

the development, enforcement, and monitoring of tribal environmental quality and regulatory programs. </p>

<p>Eligible applicants include Alaska Native villages as defined in the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act and/or nonprofit village consortia; nonprofit Alaska Native Regional Corporations/Associations with village-specific projects; other tribal or village organizations or consortia of Indian tribes; and tribal governing bodies (Indian Reorganization Act or traditional councils) as recognized by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.</p> Individuals and foreign entities are not eligible for awards made under this announcement.
