Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) Competitive Grants: New Hampshire

The Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Administration on Children, Youth and Families' (ACYF) Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) will be accepting applications from eligible local organizations and entities located in New Hampshire, for the development and implementation of the

credit:


Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) in states that do not accept FY2023 allocations for State PREP.

The purpose of this program is to support projects that educate youth, between the ages of 10 and 19 years, and pregnant and parenting youth under age 21, on abstinence and contraception for the prevention of pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, and HIV/AIDS.

Projects are also required to implement at least three of six adulthood preparation subjects.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Applicant organizations must be located in New Hampshire.

Eligible applicants are local organizations and entities or consortia, with the capacity to develop and implement Competitive PREP projects in New Hampshire.

The estimated award amount is based upon FY2023 funding available for Competitive PREP awards and is subject to change. States awarded formula allocation funding under the State Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP), and entities in those states and territories, will be ineligible to receive an award under this NOFO.

Applications received from entities located in ineligible states and territories will be disqualified from the competitive review and award.

Applicants located in a state other than New Hampshire, but proposing a project that serves New Hampshire, will be disqualified from objective review and award under this NOFO.

Applications from individuals (including sole proprietorships) and foreign entities are not eligible and will be disqualified from competitive review and funding under this funding opportunity.

Faith-based and community organizations that meet the eligibility requirements are eligible to receive awards under this funding opportunity.

Faith-based organizations may apply for this award on the same basis as any other organization, as set forth at and, subject to the protections and requirements of 45 CFR Part 87 and 42 U.S.C.

2000bb et seq., ACF will not, in the selection of recipients, discriminate against an organization on the basis of the organization's religious character, affiliation, or exercise.
